Ah beards, a sign of hard work, toil and labour, working too hard and too busy too shave. Most men are quite happy to let it all hang out or maybe its a fashion statement? What if women could grow beards, would do do it to fit in too?

We surveyed a number of freelance web designers to uncover some astonishing results surrounding beards and web designers and if you need one. Here are the results.

Out of 38 Freelancer Designers we anonymously surveyed (male and female) the following results came back.

34.2% said “Um well I can’t grow one”

31.5% said “Yes you need a beard..duh”

21.05% said “No you do not need a beard”

7.89% said “I would love to grow one..”

5.36% said “Get a Life!”

Hmmmm, very mixed results.

Conclusion —

Is there one? obviously you don’t need a beard to become a web developer but some people seems to think it helps! Let us know your thoughts below.
